L’Oreal True Match Nude Tinted Serum Review

L’Oreal’s True Match range has been a favourite of mine for years, and when I saw L’Oreal added the True Match Nude Tinted Serum to the family, I knew I needed to try it out! Last week when I was working on last week’s foundation review for the No. 1 de Chanel Revitalizing Foundation, my wheels were turning, and I had this feeling this would be the perfect foundation to compare to the Chanel.

While this stunning L’Oreal tinted serum is by no means a “dupe” for Chanel’s new foundation, both foundations share a gorgeous lightweight texture, and they provide a lovely “no makeup” makeup effect. L’Oreal’s formula feels slightly thicker, almost like a more dense liquid, while Chanel’s feels a little more watery, and it practically meshes with the skin.

The L’Oreal True Match Tinted Serum comes in 12 shades, retails for $22.09(CA)/19.99(USA), contains 30ml of product - breaking down to $0.73(CA)/0.67(USA) per ml. In comparison, this tinted serum/foundation is not the most affordable complexion product but compared to products at a similar price point.
