We are taking a stroll through the empty beauty products I used up during spring 2022! Since the beginning of 2022, I have consciously tried to shop less and focus on using up what I own! This has to be rewarding when you reach the end of one product and get the subconscious green flag to move on to the following product in your collection!

This season I decided to try something different: to actively think about my current favourite or “holy grail” product in a given category when trying out a new product. This exercise allowed me to mentally cue into what it is that I truly love about my existing favourite, and it gave me a checklist in the sense of what I was looking for when trying out a new product; so let's take a look at the products that have come into my collection that are sparking joy me right now!

For years now, I have been madly in love with the Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Cream due to its lightweight yet nourishing texture, skin-loving ingredients, and it’s fragrance-free; however, I didn’t love the price point of $30-40 because it’s a product I go through in about a month and a half. Drumroll for the Eucerin Urea Repair Face Cream (all products will be linked below)! I came across this product one evening while watching YouTube and took a mental note, and a few days later, I ran across it at my local grocery store, where I found it on sale for $9.99 and decided to purchase it. After a week of using it nightly, I noticed my skin felt smoother, more radiant; it seemed to be minor touch-sensitive!

Another two products I have loved for years are the CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara and the Cover Girl Clump Crush Mascara because they give my typically sparse lashes a little extra oomph, curl, definition, and length, and they don’t smudge or fall throughout the day! Enter the Rom&nd Han All Fix Long Lash Mascara in Ashe! Wow! For starters, the Romand mascara has a gorgeous mirky mushroom grey-brown colour that looks more natural than any other brown or black-brown mascara I have tried, and my lashes look like my lashes but better in every sense!

When I purchased the Rom&nd mascara, I also purchased the Etude Dr. Mascara Fixer after reading some rave reviews, and wow, I am hooked! This mascara is like a two-in-one product that you can use as a primer or a long-lasting top coat for enhancing ANY mascara! I simply love it!

When Becca announced they were going out of business, I picked a few of the Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer, a product I loved for prepping my under eyes to enhance how my concealer wears and looks. At some point over the last year, I had heard rave things about the Jaclyn Cosmetics Under Eye Primer, and I wanted to try it, but finding Jaclyn’s products locally is a little tricky and an effect I wanted to feel before I purchased it. Fast forward to my summer vacation, and I was back home in Virginia for a few days and ran by Ulta, where I got to swatch the product and fell in love! After returning home and testing it out, I only fell in love with the product more, and wow, I am smitten!
